Don’t try to read any meaning into the title of this chapter, it makes less than no sense. Also I don’t understand taxes either. This storyline exists because it was brought to my attention that someone on roughly 5k a year would not be paying taxes unless they were on emergency tax, which I decided was the case with Seth here.

Side note: I’ve wanted to draw Anna and Gemma’s kitchen for ages because it is the most passive-aggressive kitchen ever.

Soooo... this storyline had to be rewritten quite substantially after I'd already drawn several pages, and I want to give a shout out to my friend Michael who helped me brainstorm ideas for said rewrite. Thank yooooouuu.

Also unrelated to my mess of a writing process, a special thanks to Teh Zeek for some great advice to spruce up my lineart. Thanks, Zeek!

Ah yes, that would complicate matters... considering starting a job halfway through the tax year is confusing enough!

This reminds me of the time I had a one instead of a 0 on my tax paperwork (cuz I'm an idiot XD) aaand ended up having to PAY the government 200-somethin' dollars instead of get a tax return X'D.... making less than 10k annually at that time X)

Aaah that ssilly silly 1. Glad I got that all fixed up hahahaha.
Also I LOVE the post'it note battle in the background! lolol

Thanks! I rather predictably hate drawing backgrounds, so I have to make it interesting and fun for myself :)

Those notes are so funny! And the writing on the mugs! I like how you keep so many details consistent from page to page, like the scar on Seth`s finger.

Thanks :) Strangely I think I'm better at keeping track of the details of background objects than the details of characters! I'm just glad most of Seth's scars aren't visible most of the time, because I'd forget to draw all of them!
