I once got latte art that looked a bit like a willy, so either I annoyed the barista somehow, or he had a weird and very direct way of flirting...

Also, spur of the moment haircut for ol’ Jon-hasn’t-asked-him-his-name-yet here.

I started giggling at the last panel, but when I read the A/N I just absolutely lost it XDDD

Haha yeah, sometimes comics are inspired by real life incidents, but I decided to... go a more innocent route than what actually happened XD

Aww, really? Maybe they think you seem happy already, so they don't need to brighten your day!

I don't blame you! They'd be a pretty sweet couple, I think.

Maybe they were going for the Sorting Hat? Idk.

Oh, maybe? I thought it might be supposed to be some sort of flower, but I couldn't work it out.

Also may have been calling you a wanker, but that's a different story. :P

A lot of the nicer and better people have general, nonspecific affection and desire to make people's day better. Even if the barista likes you to some degree that doesn't usually mean they want to get married.

Oh yeah, definitely, and that's normally how I interpret it, this guy just overthinks things!

I love the last panel, although I find myself wondering if we're in Karen's head.

I definitely sympathise with the second panel, during my days in retail I would forget someone the second they left the shop.

Oh yeah, I'd sometimes have people come back to complain or something, mere minutes after I served them, and I'd not remember them. To be fair though, I only really remembered bad customers, so they should take it as a compliment!

The joys of retail, and having customers seem to think you really DO love them! People go through my till all the time, and then come back and say, "I'm back!". I used to panic, but now I just say, "Welcome back," so I don't have to actually remember them, lol. I can't believe you got a latte that looked like a willy, though! I've seen that design before, and I think it's SUPPOSED to be a leaf, but that one looks a bit...extreme

Haha yeah that was always an awkward part of serving people. They'd seem offended that I didn't remember them, like I didn't see hundreds of customers that day!

It's the tip that I find particularly unambiguous. It's just so... there.
