My mum told me a joke once when we were looking at Da Vinci’s The Last Supper, along the lines of: “Table for twenty-six, please. No, it’s only thirteen of us, but we’re all going to sit on one side of the table.” That feels kind of relevant here.

If you took part in the 30 Days of Characters back in April 2016, you may recognise some of these cool individuals!

Dilip's definition of "we are on a break" seems to differ a bit from the common one...

They are seeing other people... while also seeing each other... I don't think Dilip knows what a break is.

Every other college student is like “yeah this is a pretty normal group outing size” meanwhile John is going “OH GOD SHE HAS SO MANY FRIENDS WE HAVE NOTHING IN COMMON”

Yeah, exactly, Jon's counting the potential escape routes right now.

"Hi people I don't know, how about that sports team that did the sports thing all the sports people are talking about, huh?"

I don't know if he'll be quite that bad, but I am amused by the potential of watching Jon's social awkwardness imploding awkwardly. Of course it'll be cute to watch so Karen gets that much more in-crush with him too.

There was actually a panel which I cut where Karen asks Jon if he's cool meeting her friends and he's like "Uh... yyeeeaaahh... ._.;" and judging from your comment, it looks like I didn't need it! You all know Jon well enough by now. XD

I dunno, I think it works better without that because it keeps up their habit of making incorrect assumptions and misinterpreting each other if she just drags him off to meet her friends without asking. Because of course Jon has adequate social skills, he does a social job working in a coffee shop. And of course he's into Karen, his own brother is setting him up with her, they've obviously talked about her.
