You know how people say that couples start to resemble each other after a while...?

Yeah I think it's much better than the last page's punishment!

Seth would probably agree.

Seth's ew-face when earing Jon's little-hearted bye...

He accidentally pushed Jon deeper into the arms of his enemy boss

Poor Seth, now we know the real reason he's constantly at odds with Tilly. It's not his lack of motivation, his lack of basic arithmetic competence, or her inclination to switch on full-throttle snarling wrath fit to match with any military drill instructor. Instead of those things the true, serious, unbridgeable gap is her dangerously twee cheerfulness.

If Tilly being a manager is not a case of rampant nepotism then Jon could do far worse than to pick up some of her more useful traits and habits. Even if it is a case of nepotism then it might still be a large improvement if he can dip into enough of the unearned privilege part of the nepotism. Even if all he gets out of it is a better handle on managing his older brother that might still significantly improve his overall health, happiness and achievement. So obviously he has to screw it up somehow.

Jon is secretly very glad he now has even more ways to annoy his brother
Matthew Jones (Guest) edit delete reply
Ah, 'tis the glower of the brother that has yet to forgive, 'tis the pushing of one into the arms of the enemy.

Yes, I'm an English speaker, and I still haven't mastered it. :Sigh:

Haha, true
(I don't know if anyone can truly master English, it's such a bizarre language)
AmbiguousMouse (Guest) edit delete reply
Wait. Jon is being charming, and Tilly is acting like an actual person? Did they just undergo significant off-screen character developments just to punish Seth? That's commitment.

Mel Cormac
I guess there's a side to both of them that Seth doesn't get to see

Mel Cormac
Though I do love the idea of them both undergoing character growth just to annoy Seth
